Early in his career Genghis embarked on a wave of contemporary street art producing work influenced by pop culture blended with satire, ideas of the occult with a hint of social and political commentary reflecting the era of time in which the works were produced. Capturing much of this in a fantastic visual art/literary softcover book.
Fast-forward 10 years later and Genghis has found his niche, creating works heavily influenced by traditional Japanese tattooing and artistic style inspired by asian mythology and classic tattoo designs. He is currently working out of Painted Lotus Studios on Gordon St. Located in the centre of beautiful downtown Victoria, British Columbia.
